Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Vigilimate AI wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on captions, or need larger text or more contrast.

Accessibility is not a box to tick once. It degrades every time a page is edited, so it has to be checked repeatedly.

What we aim for

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means:

  • text that meets contrast requirements against the color behind it;
  • every meaningful image carrying a text alternative, and decorative images marked as decorative;
  • headings that describe the real structure of a page rather than being picked for their size;
  • every control reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
  • forms whose fields have labels, and whose errors say what is wrong and how to fix it;
  • content that reflows and stays readable when zoomed or viewed on a small screen;
  • no information carried by color alone.

Contrast is checked automatically before a page change is published here, and a change that fails is refused rather than shipped.

What you can change yourself

Every page carries an accessibility panel — the button in the lower-left corner. It adjusts this site in your browser and remembers what you chose on this device: text size and spacing, stronger contrast or an inverted scheme, underlined links, larger controls, a plainer typeface, a bigger cursor, a reading mask, and an option to stop animation and anything that plays by itself.

It changes this site's own styling rather than painting over it, so the page stays the page. Nothing you set there is sent to us.

Where we fall short

We would rather say this plainly: parts of this site may not yet fully meet that standard. Older content, material embedded from other companies — a video player, a map, a booking or payment widget — and documents such as PDFs are the usual gaps, and some of them are not entirely within our control. Where a third-party component is the barrier, we raise it with that provider and look for an accessible alternative.

Tell us

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us. You do not need to know why it is failing or what to call it — describe what you were trying to do and what happened, and include the page address if you have it. Write to support@vigilimate.com.

We treat these reports as faults, not feedback. We will acknowledge you, tell you what we find, and where a fix will take time we will offer another way to get what you needed in the meantime.

Changes

We review this statement as the site changes. The date above is when this version took effect.
